These people were arrested around the state in December.

CHEROKEE, N.C. (WISH) - Police in North Carolina have made arrests in connection to the murder of a Shelbyville woman in September.
The Cherokee Indian Police Department served a search warrant on a residence in Cherokee and arrested three people for the murder of Barbara E. Preidt of Shelbyville.
Preidt was robbed, shot, and killed outside of the Fairfield Inn and Suites around 10 p.m. on Sept. 30. Preidt and her husband were on their way to visit family out of state.
George Nobles, 36, Ashlyn Carothers, 20, and Dwayne Edward Swayney, 43, were all arrested.
George Nobles was preliminarily charged with first degree murder, armed robbery, two counts of felon in possession of firearm, and a pending charge of manufacturing in marijuana.
Ashlyn Carothers was preliminarily charged with aid and abet armed robbery, aid and abet homicide in first degree, and a pending charge of manufacturing in marijuana.
Dwayne Edward Swayney was preliminarily charged with tampering with evidence.
