JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - After a year-long investigation, three people were arrested in Jefferson County Tuesday for numerous felony charges, including dealing of a synthetic drug.
Officers obtained a search warrant on July 18, and went to the business "Needful Things" in Madison, Ind. The investigation of the business uncovered a number of business crimes and drug-related charges.
Rita Smith, 61, was arrested at the business. Julie Marshall, 38, and Steven Warren,23, were arrested in their homes.
Smith is charged with two class D felonies and three class C felonies. Marshall is charged with ten class D felonies, and Warren is charged with one Class D felony, dealing a synthetic drug over two grams.
All three suspects were taken to the Jefferson County Jail.
