EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - The Indiana Excise Police cited 47 people at Evansville's 91st Annual West Side Nut Club Fall Festival this year. Last year, 110 people were cited or arrested at the festival.
Officers cited 38 juveniles for possession of tobacco. Additionally, four minors were ticketed for possession or consumption of alcohol.
Three were ticketed for providing tobacco to a juvenile and two adults were cited for providing alcohol to a minor.
Most people were ticketed near the festival on West Franklin Street.
The event, which covers four block on West Franklin Street, is one of the largest festivals in the country and draws nearly 400,000 visitors each year.
