ANDERSON, Ind. (The Herald Bulletin) - Police in Anderson arrested six adults and took seven children into child protective care Thursday night following a drug bust.
According to a probable cause affidavit, six Anderson residents gathered at a home on the 2300 block of Locust Street to have a “pot-smoking party.”
Seven children were brought to the event, ranging in ages from 7 months old to 12 years old.
Officers in the area could smell a strong odor of marijuana and arrived to the residence, 24-Hour News 8’s news partner The Herald Bulletin reports.
Police say the children inside were playing in “filthy” conditions.
