Center Grove, Ind. (WISH) - Johnson County authorities have one person in custody in connection with the violent robbery in the Golden Grove subdivision last week. Residents are relieved and anxious to hear more on how investigators solved the crime.
A juvenile is behind bars facing charges of robbery and assault at this home in the Golden Grove subdivision in Johnson County. On June 21st, police say two armed men entered the home just before midnight and robbed the homeowners at gunpoint. Investigators say one of the suspects attacked one of the homeowners during the incident. Since that time, neighbors have been on guard.
Rhonda Stagner and her family have lived in the neighborhood for two years, "We have a good visual of the street so we're always looking at coming and going."
After the attack, investigators talked with her and other neighbors checking leads.
On Wednesday detectives released surveillance footage of what they believed are suspects in the case.
"They had a good lead and a good photo so we were very confident and they had been working tirelessly. So very happy, very relieved," Stagner said.
Investigators tell 24-Hour News 8 that they have identified another possible suspect as well.
Johnson County authorities plan to release details of their investigation during a press conference Monday morning.
