INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A federal judge has sentenced former IMPD officer James Davis to 10 years in prison.
James Davis, 34, was among several officers indicted by a federal grand jury. Prosecutors accused them of using their jobs at IMPD to make search warrants so they could take marijuana from dealers -- then sell it themselves.
IMPD officers Jason Edwards and Robert Long were convicted earlier. They are awaiting sentencing ( read more ).
