INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A former Indianapolis Colts player is facing charges after he reportedly hit a police officer at Victory Field Saturday.
Authorities say a Metro Police officer working security escorted 47-year-old Blair Kiel out of the ballpark following a domestic dispute.
The officer said Kiel later became belligerent, shoved him and struck him several times.
Kiel was placed under arrest for resisting law enforcement and for public intoxication.
Kiel played for the Colts in 1986 and 1987.
