Metro police said they're questioning several people who could be connected to last weekend's Huntington bank robbery where an 11-year-old girl was held hostage.

Police said Thursday night detectives and FBI agents are questioning Beth Moench, the mother of the 11-year-old girl. They're also questioning the Moench's boyfriend, 41-year-old Daniel Wayne Oliver. The couple's west side home at 1516 Gumwood Drive (near 10th Street and Raceway Road) was raided by FBI agents Thursday afternoon. Metro police confirm the warrant is connected to the bank robbery.

"Anytime you serve a warrant you need to have additional information to serve the warrant," said Lt. Jeff Duhamell with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. "During their investigation, they were able to have enough information to go to that residence."

Tnady Hufley witnessed the raid. She said more than a dozen law enforcement officers kept walking in and out of the house, while a few FBI agents searched the backyard and shed.

"They were taking undisclosed items in bags and things like out of the home," she said.

Neighbors also said they noticed what appeared to be unmarked police vehicles in the neighborhood as early as eight o'clock Thursday morning.

Since the warrant is sealed, authorities can't release any specific information about what led to the raid or the evidence that was gathered.

Authorities said they have not arrested anyone in connection to the bank robbery. They're only questioning people, including the 11-year-old hostage's mother and her boyfriend.

This is Oliver's second run in with the law this week. According to police, Oliver was arrested on an outstanding traffic warrant Wednesday.
