ZIONSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - Zionsville Police need your help looking for the suspects who stole thousands of dollars in musical instruments. Someone took the instruments from the music department at Zionsville High School.

"They had on black hooded sweatshirts a black stocking cap and also clear plastic mask," Zionsville Police Detective Robert Anderson said.
It's a plus for police when a crime is caught on tape.
"They knew where they were going, there's not doubt in my mind," Det. Anderson said.
In the early morning hours on Sunday, November 9th, Zionsville Police say two people broke inside Zionsville High School.
"They made their way through the varsity gymnasium to the main hallway of the high school itself," Det. Anderson explained.
Each step was all captured on camera.
"From that camera system we were able to pull still photos from the event and kind of track their progress through the school," Det. Anderson said.
The surveillance pictures of the robbery show the crime in progress. In just 15 minutes, police say the thieves walked away with seven valuable instruments including two saxaphones, two french horns, a clarinet and two trumpets. The instruments have a total value of almost $16,000.
"We're talking about quite a bit of money," Det. Anderson said. "They are pretty expensive."
Even though the camera had no sound police got good evidence.
"It's serious when a school is the target of a break-in," Zionsville Community Schools Superintendent Dr. Scott Robison said.
Zionsville High School has filed an insurance claim.
Police say they are working with local pawn shops and IMPD to catch the suspects.
