Man accused of fatal hit & run in court

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A man accused of a hit and run accident that killed a
6-month-old girl appeared in court Wednesday morning.
John Daugherty faces a preliminary charge of failing to stop
at an accident causing a death.
Police believe Daugherty was driving the car that hit an
18-year-old man and the stroller carrying Adrianne Marlette last
Friday. Adrianne died at Riley Hospital on Saturday. The
18-year-old was treated and released at the hospital.
Just hours after the accident, police recovered the car they
think was involved. Monday evening, they arrested Daugherty.
