Police are looking for a suspect in a shooting in the parking lot of Lafayette Square Mall.
According to police, the victim was sitting in his car when he was approached by another man asking for money. When the man refused the other man shot him once in the abdomen.
The victim was able to drive to a nearby gas station at 46th and Lafayette Road. He was rushed to Methodist Hospital via ambulance, but his condition is unknown at this time.
Detectives are searching the parking lot of Lafayette Square Mall near Burlington Coat Factory for evidence.
