INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Indianapolis Metro Police are trying to figure out who shot a man in the head Saturday morning. The shooting happened just after 6 o'clock on 28th Street near Capitol.
The 23-year-old is in critical condition at Methodist Hospital. Police found him on someone's front porch, but officers say he was shot somewhere else, and then went to get help.
Lt. Craig Blanton with IMPD, "We do believe we have a crime scene a little bit south of here. And we're still early on in the investigation and continuing that from this point forward."
So far, police say they do not have any information about who may opened fire or why.
