INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Police are investigating the city's latest homicide on the southeast side of Indianapolis.
IMPD officers were called to the 12-hundred block of S. East Street just before 9 o'clock Wednesday night. When officers arrived, they found a 53-year-old man unconscious at a nearby gas station. Police pronounced him dead at the scene.
According to Sgt. Paul Thompson, police are not sure how the victim died. Officers just know he suffered some sort of trauma. They say the man was inside the gas station 20 minutes before he died.
Officers are currently investigating the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact IMPD or Crime Stoppers at 262-TIPS
