Police: Man admits to double homicide

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WISH) - Police say a Fort Wayne man has admitted to killing two people in Indianapolis.

Indianapolis U.S. Marshalls assisted by Fort Wayne police arrested 20-year-old Christopher Conwell on Wednesday.

Conwell faces charges in the deaths of Avery Elzy and Michael Hunt. Police found their bodies inside their home in the 5800 block of Rosslyn Avenue on December 25.

Elzy's stolen 2001 dark blue Mercury Sable was also found in Fort Wayne.

According to police, Conwell said he met Elzy in an internet chat room. The two met in person at Elzy's home the night of the murders.
