JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - A violent robbery in Central Indiana is close to being solved. One suspect is already behind bars, but one suspect is still on the loose.
Johnson County investigators announced Monday morning that they are searching for a 20-year-old man named Bobby Jones.
They said Jones teamed up with a 17-year-old and walked into a home in "Golden Groves Estates" just more than a week ago. Attacked the homeowners and stole their credit cards.
The teenager is in custody, and investigators think they'll also have Jones behind bars soon.
"I'd like to thank the public for their input, calls, there tips. It's definitely a joint effort whenever anybody is trying to solve a crime of this nature. We always need the public's input and we're appreciative of that," said Johnson County Sheriff Terry McLaughlin.
Police describe Jones as a career criminal who already has an active arrest warrant in Indianapolis.
