FRANKLIN, Ind. (WISH) - Police in Franklin responded to a Village Pantry Thursday night to the report of a robbery that had just occurred.
Officers learned that a male suspect entered the store around 7:40 p.m. and demanded money from the clerk while displaying a handgun.
The suspect fled after receiving several cartons of cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect is described as a white male, in his early to mid 20s, approximately 5 foot 10 inches tall, a thin build, brown hair, and light facial hair on his chin. He was seen wearing a grey sweatshirt with the hood up.
