Greensburg Police arrest teen for fake abduction report

GREENSBURG, Ind. (WISH) - An 18-year-old was arrested Thursday after Greensburg Police said she lied about a report of an abduction .
The teen called police Monday night to say two men in a pickup truck abducted her and sexually assaulted her.
Video surveillance from Walmart helped police in their investigation.
The teen, Tina Anne Dixon, was arrested on a preliminary Class A misdemeanor charge of false reporting.
"The investigation consumed numerous hours by officers of the Greensburg Police Department," police officials said in a news release.
