INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Homicide detectives have preliminarily charged 29-year-old Michael Mason of Indianapolis with murder.
Mason is alleged to have shot and killed Latoya Glass on Saturday, Aug. 11, police say.
Detectives with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Violent Crimes Unit apprehended Mason at his parole office without incident.
Mason was taken to police headquarters for questioning and was later arrested.
He was transported and booked at the Arrestee Processing Center with no bond where he will await a decision by the Marion County Prosecutor's office if formal charges will be filed.
The investigation is considered on-going. Detectives have not established a motive for the shooting at this time.
