INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Indianapolis Public Schools Police investigated a possible attempted abduction Wednesday morning.
The attempted kidnapping was reported at Harshman Magnet Middle School.
Police were told that on Wednesday, there was an attempted abduction at a bus stop located at Lambert Street and Sheffield Avenue.
Officers say a driver in a red tow truck pulled into a gravel lot and asked a 13-year-old boy if he wanted some pizza.
The boy turned and ran home and reported the incident to his father.
The unmarked tow truck sped away from the scene.
The only description given of the suspect is a stocky build with brown curly hair. The driver reportedly had a deep voice. The truck has never been seen in the area before.
