AVON, Ind. (WISH) - Avon police are seeking the public’s help to identify a bank robbery suspect.

At about 5:30 p.m. Thursday, a black female presented a note demanding money from a teller at the Chase Bank in the 9500 block of East U.S. 36, Avon Police Department said.

The woman got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and ran north from the bank, getting into a dark-colored vehicle, police said.

The suspect, whose photo from surveillance footage can be seen above, is described as 5-foot-6, with a thin, athletic build.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous, and information that leads to felony arrest may be eligible for cash reward.
