Boone County , Ind. (WISH) - The Wernsing family is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest of the driver that killed a Fayette woman and fled the scene.
24-Hour NEWS 8 news partner The Lebanon Reporter reports Anita Wernsing, 78, was walking across Ind. 267 from Mt. Tabor Primitive Baptist Church to her home on Nov. 25, when she was hit by a car. The car drove away and Wernsing died shortly after.
