Bodies of woman, children handled as homicides

NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WISH) - Southern Indiana police are releasing few details in their investigation into the deaths of a woman and two children whose bodies were found in a shallow creek.
Police identified the bodies found Thursday as 35-year-old Jamie Clutter, Jamie’s 10-year-old son, Brandon Clutter and her infant daughter, Katelyn Clutter, 6 months.
Maj. Keith Whitlow of New Albany police said Wednesday the deaths are being treated as homicides even though the bodies lack any obvious signs of foul play.
Whitlow said in a press release Thursday that autopsies were performed Thursday at the Kentucky Medical Examiner’s office in Louisville. The exact cause of death of each victim is yet to be determined pending further testing.
He said the Clutter family relocated to an apartment complex in New Albany in December 2012 from the State of Washington.
Investigation into the deaths Jamie and her children is continuing by the New Albany Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division. No suspects have as yet been identified as of Thursday.
