INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Homicide detectives were called to the 6300 block of Bettcher Avenue after a body was found in a ditch Saturday evening, and family members say the body is that of their missing loved one who disappeared nearly three weeks ago.
Detectives say the body was found in a ditch in the area of 63rd and Bettcher Avenue.
Family members of 19-year-old Elisabeth Pack, who has been missing since February 25, arrived to the scene Saturday night.
The family confirmed the woman is Pack.
She was last seen at a Speedway gas station almost three weeks ago and her family has been searching ever since.
"We've been out here in parks, creeks, everything," said family friend Cierra Bronson. "We've just been trying to find her. She was a blessing out here to people. She didn't come from the streets. She came from a good family."
The investigation is ongoing. An autopsy is scheduled for Sunday. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS (8477).
