INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A Brownsburg man was sentenced to 40 years in prison for possessing and distributing child pornography.
A jury found Christopher Jason Eads, 27, guilty in February. After his release from prison, he will be on supervised release for the rest of his life, and won’t be allowed to have unsupervised contact with minors or access to electronic devices.
Over the course of the investigation, which began in October 2011, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department found a laptop at Eads’ Brownsburg home with more than 6,900 images and videos depicting children – some as young as a few months old - engaged in sexually explicit acts.
He was sentenced to 10 years in prison for possession of child pornography, 20 years in prison for distributing child pornography, and 10 years for tampering with a witness – because he had tried to persuade a witness to change key details of a statement made to police,
