Burkett given 3 yrs in voyeurism case

CASS COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - A Logansport man was sentenced to 3 years incarceration Friday on one count of voyeurism.
Jason Burkett, 32, was charged last year with two counts of voyeurism with a camera, A Class D felony, after he allegedly recorded an adult female and a juvenile using the restroom without their knowledge . He was sentenced to 3 years, with 189 days of jail time credit.
Logansport police detective Brad Smith said the video recordings happened inside a garage and a home in Logansport.
Although he was originally charged with two counts, second count was dismissed.
