Chase ends in crash near elementary

COLUMBUS, Ind. (The Republic) - After an early morning chase that ended in a crash near an elementary school, police arrested a man for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Ian M. Moran, 30, was arrested on preliminary felony charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance and resisting law enforcement with a vehicle.
Indiana State Police troopers attempted to stop Moran when he fled and reached speeds of up to 80 miles per hour, 24-Hour News 8’s news partner The Republic reports.
The chase ended with a crash near Rockcreek Elementary School on Friday.
