AVON, Ind. (WISH) - Avon police are investigating the burglary of a child advocacy center, 24-Hour News 8 news partner the Hendricks County Flyer reports.
It happened at Susie's Place early on Christmas day. Several offices were ransacked.
Workers at Susie's Place conduct interviews with children to investigate abuse allegations.
Police say the thieves took laptops and cash from a safe. The Retirement Housing Foundation next door was also burglarized. Police say the thieves took computers, digital cameras, memory cards and cash from there.
