LEBANON, Ind. (WISH) - Four people are facing charges after investigators uncovered the remnants of a methamphetamine lab in a motel room with a small child, police officials said Thursday.

Officers from the Hamilton/Boone County Drug Task Force went to a motel in Lebanon, near Interstate 65 and Ind. 32, on Sunday to serve a search warrant. They found meth, meth paraphernalia and the remnants of a lab.

Joshua Reed, 30, and Brandi Reed, 28, were both arrested on preliminary charges of manufacturing meth within 1,000 feet of a family housing complex, possession of meth within 1,000 feet of a family housing complex, possession of precursors, maintaining a common nuisance, and child neglect.

Scott Small, 35, was arrested on preliminary charges of manufacturing meth within 1,000 feet of a family housing complex, possession of meth within 1,000 feet of a family housing complex, possession of paraphernalia and visiting a common nuisance.

A fourth person, 33-year-old Jason Perkins, was arrested on a preliminary misdemeanor charge of visiting a common nuisance.

All four suspects were taken to the Boone County Jail. Officials ensured the child was taken to a safe place.
