City sees multiple business break-ins

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Columbus police are investigating multiple business break-ins that might be connected, 24-Hour News 8’s news partner, The Republic , reports.

Seven burglaries occurred between 4 p.m. Saturday and 6 p.m. Sunday.

Burglars took guns and knives from 3365 Commerce Drive, money from Jody’s Gymnastics Zone, 3880 Long Road and money from Shelby Materials, 5165 N. Indianapolis Road.

Two others businesses — Burnside’s American Flags, 5150 N. Indianapolis Road, and NAPA Auto Parts, 3665 N. National Road — were broken into, but no items were missing.

There were two other break-ins on Progress Drive, but details on them weren’t available.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to contact police.
