ELIZABETHTOWN (The Republic) - Police have arrested someone whom they allegedly found trying to steal anhydrous ammonia from a farm supply store.
The discovery this morning at Tri-County Farm Supply touched off a car chase that featured the suspect crashing into a tree, according to Columbus Police Department, which assisted sheriff's deputies.
Patrolman Chad Lehman and his police dog, Rex, eventually found the suspect. The suspect was being treated this morning at Columbus Regional Hospital for minor dog bites.
