PLAINFIELD, Ind. (WISH) - An officer with the Indiana Department of Correction is now out of a job and facing drug charges.
After an investigation, police arrested Officer Robert Aaron Hubbard on Monday in the Plainfield Walmart parking lot. They said Hubbard had narcotics and a handgun in his possession.
He now faces preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, a Class A felony, and possession of marijuana, dealing in marijuana and dealing while in possession of a handgun, all Class C felonies.
Hubbard was working in the Reception-Diagnostic Center, but he was fired after the DOC learned of his arrest.
