Docs: Driver's BAC 3 times legal limit

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A 23-year old woman accused of driving drunk and killing a cab driver had a blood alcohol content more than three times the legal limit.

Court documents show Whitney Gettys had a blood alcohol content of .26 at the time of the crash.

Officers arrested her early Sunday morning following the accident at Washington and Delaware streets.

The crash killed a 32-year old cab driver from East Africa, Semere Issak.

Court documents say Gettys told police she had one shot of alcohol around 8 p.m.
