Docs: Jailer asked inmates for sex favors

MORGAN COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - A Morgan County jail officer was arrested and is accused of sexual battery against a female inmate.
Prosecutors also charged 21-year-old Nicholas Tankersley with official misconduct and theft.
Court documents show Tankersley would tell female inmates if they stripped down to nothing, that he'd get them things like markers, ink pens, extra sheets, oranges, and batteries.
Prosecutors say Tankersley would also ask the women for sexual favors when they got out of jail, and would friend them on Facebook.
Tankersley is booked in the Johnson County Jail, and has been fired from his job.
