ANDERSON, Ind. (The Herald Bulletin) - Police in Anderson say a man is facing preliminary felony charges after he allegedly attacked two women and took their phones to stop them from calling police.
According to court documents, Colin W. Estes was found standing on top of one female victim who was covered in blood, 24-Hour News 8’s news partner The Herald Bulletin reports.
Officers say the incident began when two women said they wanted to go to a bar and Estes began punching one woman.
After restraining Estes, police found the women’s cell phones in his pocket. He said he took them so they wouldn’t call police.
