RUSHVILLE, Ind. (Rushville Republican) - Charges have been filed against a Rushville Police Department D.A.R.E. officer.
Officer Cale H. Worley has been charged with contributing delinquency to a minor, a Class A misdemeanor, and official misconduct, a Class D felony, for his alleged relationship with a 15-year-old juvenile, 24-Hour News 8’s news partner The Rushville Republican reports.
According to court documents, Worley met with the girl behind the junior high school without her family’s permission between the hours of 1 and 2 a.m.
He is also accused of exchanging text messages with the girl.
Worley resigned from his position in Aug. 2012.
