INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A recently resigned Indiana State Trooper, who left the service just over a week ago, is in trouble with the law.
Raymond Hunt, 28, is accused of holding a family at gunpoint in their own home. Officers say Hunt forced his way into the family's home in Southern Indiana in Harrison County.
The homeowners told our sister station WLKY that they heard gunshots around 1 a.m. Friday morning. The family then heard a loud knock on the door and thought it was their neighbor.
When they answered the door, the family found an intoxicated Hunt standing on their porch. Hunt then forced his way into their home.
Witnesses say it did not seem as if Hunt was going to hurt them, but he kept pointing his gun at them.
Hunt, originally from Plainfield, has worked with the Indiana State Police since 2007. He resigned last Friday.
Hunt is now facing several felony charges.
