GALVESTON, Ind. (Kokomo Tribune) - A family in Galveston found a man sleeping in their car that was parked in their garage Friday morning.
The Cass County Sheriff Department was called to the residence on North Conwell Street shortly before 8 a.m. after receiving a call that someone had entered a garage and was sleeping in a car, 24-Hour News 8’s news partner The Kokomo Tribune reports.
A family member held the man at gunpoint while waiting for officers to arrive.
Jerrod C. Landis, 22, was arrested on a preliminary charge of criminal trespassing, a Class A misdemeanor.
Landis said he had been drinking and didn’t remember anything from the night before.
