MORGANTOWN, Ind. (WISH) - A man was killed in a shooting at a Morgantown liquor store Wednesday night after an apparent fight over a woman.
Morgan County Sheriff’s Department officials said police got a call around 7 p.m. Wednesday about the shooting near the intersection of State roads 135 and 252 in Morgantown. When officers arrived, the man was dead. He was identified as 20-year-old Brad Price, of Nineveh.
Investigators said Price and 19-year-old Justen Knapp were arguing over a woman and agreed to meet up to fight. Knapp reportedly arrived with a handgun and shot Price multiple times. Knapp then fled with 21-year-old Bryan Wooldridge.
Knapp was arrested on a preliminary charge of murder and Wooldridge was arrested on a preliminary charge of assisting a criminal. Both were being held at the Morgan County Jail.
