INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A former IUPUI employee has been arrested after a three month investigation into a series of burglaries and thefts on the campus.
The IU Police Department of Indianapolis issued a search warrant on the home of former IUPUI Campus Facility Services employee Michael W. Hawk.
Officers say a large numbers of stolen items were recovered at Hawk’s home including cleaning equipment and supplies.
The items were taken from buildings and garages around the IUPUI campus and are valued at thousands of dollars.
Hawk was arrested and preliminarily charged with theft and possession of 70.5 grams of marijuana.
The investigation continues and more charges are possible.
