RUSHVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - A former Rushville City Police officer was arrested Friday afternoon after he allegedly had an inappropriate relationship with a female juvenile.
Cale Worley, 28, was arrested on a warrant for official misconduct, a Class D felony, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a Class A misdemeanor.
The case began in August when the Rushville City Police Department asked Indiana State Police-Pendleton District investigators to look into allegations of one of their officers having an inappropriate relationship with an underage girl.
According to a release, he allegedly met with the female after hours and communicated with her by text message and Facebook.
Worley was the former DARE officer for the Rushville City Police Department and worked in Rushville Community Schools. He resigned in August at the beginning of the investigation.
