EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - Indiana State Police arrested four people in various counties early Saturday morning for driving while impaired.
Police in Evansville conducted a saturation patrol Friday night and early Saturday morning to target dangerous and impaired drivers in Knox, Warrick and Gibson counties.
48 traffic tickets and 130 warnings were issued and four impaired drivers were arrested.
51-year-old Timothy Short was arrested and preliminarily charged with public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor. He was taken to the Gibson County Jail.
In Knox County three people were arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Derrick Fiscus, 25, tested a .08 percent blood alcohol content, was arrested, and is currently being held on bond, according to a release.
22-year-old Gareth Martin tested a .14 percent blood alcohol content and bonded out. Sarah Jones, 27, tested a .15 percent blood alcohol content and bonded out as well.
Johnny Wise Jr., 57, was arrested in Warrick County and is currently being held on bond.
