FRANKLIN, Ind. (WISH) - Franklin police are seeking the public’s help to find a suspect after a man was stabbed while walking his dog late Tuesday.

Police were called to the emergency room at Johnson Memorial Hospital at about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday after Jon Conner, 35, Franklin, showed up there with a stab wound. Conner told officers a man stabbed him as he was out walking his dog near the 700 block of Hurricane Street. He was able to walk home, and family members then took him to the hospital.

He could describe the suspect only as a white man, last seen wearing a gray or camouflage jacket.

Anyone with information should contact Det. Sgt. John Borges at 317-346-1142, or call the Franklin Police Department tip line at 317-346-1100.
