FRANKLIN, Ind. (WISH) - The Franklin School system was under lockdown for a bit on Friday after a bank robbery in the area.

According to the Franklin Police, MainSource Bank was robbed by an armed man at about 9:45 a.m. Friday. This is the second time the bank has been robbed.

Officials say all police units were sent out to search for the burglar. Franklin Police have released a photo of the robbery suspect, which can be seen above. He is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall, thin build. He was last seen wearing a camouflage hunting-style hat and face netting, a gray-green pullover and tan pants.

Schools were on a code red and code yellow. That alert has since been lifted.

Franklin police said they do not believe the two robberies are related. They have identified a person of interest in the previous robbery, and that person was already incarcerated on unrelated charges.

Anyone with information about Friday's robbery should call Franklin Police Department at 317-736-5111.
