INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A hearing and pre-trial conference scheduled for Thursday morning for the 15-year-old suspected in a February crime spree has been continued to 9 a.m. March 25 in juvenile court.
The court needs to decide how they will approach a psychological evaluation. Part of the reason for evaluation is determine whether or not he should be tried as an adult.
The 15-year-old has been charged with two counts of murder, one count attempted murder, three counts robbery, two counts attempted robbery, two counts auto theft, one count of theft, two counts for handgun without a license, one count resisting law enforcement and one count escape.
He is still charged as a juvenile.
The charges stem from a crime spree where he and 17-year-old Sirquain Burr allegedly fled police after being involved in a crime spree that includes one homicide and one man shot while walking his dog.
Indianapolis Prosecutor Terry Curry has asked that he be waived to adult court. Burr is already being tried as an adult.
