FRANKLIN, Ind. (WISH) - A Johnson County judge on Friday denied Tony Perkins’ request to rescind his guilty plea. He is accused of not telling more than 100 sexual partners that he had HIV.

In June 2010, Perkins requested to change his plea on several charges of failing to tell a sexual partner he has the AIDS virus from guilty to not guilty.

Perkins is accused of targeting and having sex with women to intentionally spread HIV. He is now claiming private tests show he doesn’t have HIV .

He is scheduled to be back in court June 29.
