ANDERSON, Ind. (WISH) - Anderson police arrested a homeless man this week who’s accused of stabbing another man multiple times.
Timothy C. Haney, 58, was arrested on a preliminary charge of aggravated battery in connection to the stabbing of a 49-year-old Anderson man.
Officers found Haney in the 2100 block of Pearl Street around 10:40 p.m. Wednesday after someone had called 911. Haney was bloody and told investigators he stabbed someone, according to police.
Police found the victim in his home suffering from stab wounds to the head, body and hand. He identified Haney as his attacker before being taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The stabbing is believed to be the result of an unknown dispute between the men.
