LIZTON, Ind. (WISH) - A man who police say fatally shot his wife and then shot himself in the head has now been charged with murder, 24-Hour News 8 news partner the Hendricks County Flyer reports

Police say Michael Giles shot his wife, Emily, on June 18 at their home in the 8200 block of North Hendricks County Road 400 West, then turned the gun on himself. She was pronounced dead at the scene, but he was taken St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis with a gunshot wound to the head.

A few days later, deputies discovered a cache of pipe bombs on the property as they continued to investigate.
