INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - An Indianapolis police officer was found guilty on two of three charges against him Wednesday.
Matt Elam was found guilty of official misconduct and failure to stop after an accident resulting in property damage.
Elam’s trial was heard by a judge, not a jury. The judge found him not guilty of false reporting.
The officer’s charges stem from a hit-and-run crash in which he was driving a patrol car .
