INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the help of locals in identifying a person they believe is responsible for two separate robberies.

Police say the man pictured in the image walked into a Speedway gas station at 1605 N. Shadeland Ave. on Sept. 26 just after 4:30 a.m. The suspect robbed the business of an unidentified amount of money.

When the store clerk opened the cash register, the man pushed the clerk and grabbed the money out of the cash register. He was last seen running northbound from the Speedway.

The same man is believed to be responsible for another robbery at a different Speedway location, located at 105 West Churchman Ave in Beech Grove.

The suspect is described as a light skinned, black man between the ages of 25 and 30. He is about 5'6 or 5'8, weighing between 140 and 160 pounds. The man also has a beard and a mustache.

Police have released pictures from surveillance video and are asking anyone who may have information to please contact Crime Stoppers at 317-262-8477.
