SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) - A northern Indiana woman indicted in the deaths of her two young sons who got locked in a hot car trunk is facing trial in their deaths.

WSBT-TV in South Bend reports that jury selection was scheduled to begin Monday in Jacqueline Wilk's trial on neglect charges.

A grand jury indicted the New Carlisle woman last year in the June 2011 deaths of 2-year-old Issac Dunner, and 4-year-old Dominick Wilk. The boys died after getting locked in a car trunk at their home about 15 miles west of South Bend.

A forensic pathologist says that heat caused the boys' organs to shut down.

Wilk's attorney says evidence will show his client is innocent.

Prosecutors plan to present four factors that contributed to the boys' deaths.
